We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Forest Vets on a full-time permanent basis.

Forest Vet Group is a small animal general practice with three branches across, Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea. Our reception team is often the first point of contact for our clients, so you'll play a hugely important role in making every visit feel positive, professional and personal.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

*40 hour week, 8am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, one rotating day off a week. 1:6 Saturday mornings at our Swansea branch 8.30am-12.30pm. Must be happy to work in Port Talbot, Neath and Swansea branches.

Key Responsibilities

Every day will be different, from welcoming clients and answering queries, to managing appointments, handling telephone calls, supporting our clinical teams and helping clients through what can sometimes be difficult or emotional situations.
