• Role: Veterinary Receptionist
• Status: Part-Time
• Salary: From 17.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday: 9 am - 6 pm. Friday: 8 am - 5 pm.

What You’ll Do

• Greet clients warmly and professionally
• Answer phones, take messages, and respond to basic client questions
• Understand the range of services the practice provides and the species it treats
• Recommend appropriate services and provide estimates to clients
• Differentiate and prioritize routine cases and emergency cases, alerting staff as needed
• Understand and use special record notations and make appropriate notes in patient records
• Maintain medical records and understand medical record filing systems
• Process payments, prepare deposits, and assist with invoicing
• Support client education and help create a positive client experience

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

• Animal care, client/customer interaction, and receptionist experience required
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and commitment to contributing to a supportive work environment
• Knowledge of and ability to use medical abbreviations
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfort working in a busy, team-oriented veterinary environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and coworkers
• Professionalism, reliability, and a client-focused mindset
