Role: Veterinary Receptionist

Location: Gatehouse Vets, Chester

Contract: Part-Time, Permanent

Our practice consists of eight vet surgeons, a team of seven nurses, three patient care assistants and seven receptionists.

How you'll make a difference


Your duties will include:
*Greet all clients in a friendly and professional way.
*Answer telephone calls from clients in a welcoming and calm manner.
*Provide excellent customer service, informing and educating clients sympathetically.
*Convert inquiries into appointments to maintain pet healthcare.
*Efficiently organise the appointment diary.
*Handle and update client data and records.
*Record relevant information in the practice system to support the clinical team.
*Ensure the accuracy of invoices and collect payments on the day of treatment.
*Make pre-op reminder calls and reschedule missed appointments.

This is a part-time role working 19 hours over two days per week from 8:00am till 6:30pm.
