
Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Salary£26,437 pro rated to £11,566.149 per annum
Job Type: Part Time - Permanent
Hours: 17.5 hours over 2 - 3 days , with 1 in 12 Saturdays (paid in overtime) at our Warwick branch.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist with Avonvale vets in Stratford upon Avon!
We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and provide support to our friendly team.
This is a busy and varied role so previous experience in a reception role is essential. Ideal applicants will want to grow within the role, and we offer funded training, including courses with the BVRA, to support this.
Roles and responsibilities include
Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner
Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures
Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone
Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly
Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc
Processing prescription requests
Taking payments
Promoting offers and services
Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked
