Calder Vets are recruiting for a Patient Care Assistant to join their team in the Dewsbury branch. This is a full-time fixed-term contract for 12 months.
In this role you will have the opportunity to progress your career in the veterinary industry and working alongside our Registered Veterinary Nurses.
The role of a Patient Care Assistant is to support the nursing and wider practice team in achieving the highest standards of careThe Patient Care Assistant role will involve working in a variety of areas within the practice to support the teamIt will be necessary to accept instruction from a variety of people including Management, Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses. Working enthusiastically within the team you will help maintain a happy, efficient and effective working environment.

Calder Vets is a Tier 3 Hospital based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, a 13-minute train ride from the city of Leeds with easy access to the beautiful Peak District and the city of York less than 1 hour away. We are a high-standard primary care and referral Tier 3 Hospital with ten satellite clinics. We practice an excellent level of patient care in our first-class facilities and we are proud to provide our own 24-hour on-site emergency care through our dedicated ECC night team. We often discuss clinical cases through Vet meetings and M and M rounds.
