At Inwood Animal Clinic, we specialize in quality veterinary care for pets of all ages. We are available to address any potential issues, so our patients will enjoy a lifetime of great health! Our goal is to deliver top-quality care for every animal that walks through our doors. We've been serving New York City since 2008. we're conveniently located on Broadway between Academy Street and 204th Street.

Our hours of operation are:

  • Monday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Friday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Job Description

Join our team as a Veterinary Operations Coordinator!

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and proactive veterinary professional to help support the day-to-day operations of our hospital. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing exceptional client service, supporting their teammates, organizing work flow, educating staff and finding ways to make hospital processes run more efficiently.

The Veterinary Operations Coordinator will work closely with the reception team, assistants, doctors, and hospital leadership to help keep operations running smoothly while taking on a variety of administrative and coordination responsibilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide exceptional client service and support for the team
  • Help keep front-desk operations organized and running smoothly
  • Assist with administrative projects, hospital paperwork, and other organizational needs
  • Coordinate and organize ultrasound scheduling, communication, and record keeping
  • Support doctors and hospital management with various administrative needs
  • Provide guidance, support, and leadership to the veterinary assistant team when needed
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to create more efficient processes
  • Work collaboratively with the hospital leadership team to support overall hospital operations
  • Help foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented hospital environment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of veterinary experience preferred
  • Prior management or supervisory experience required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced veterinary environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions
  • Comfortable providing guidance and support to team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, management, and support staff

Additional Information

Pay Range: $23-$28/hr depending on experience
