Casual Veterinary Nurse – Greencross Palm Beach

About the Role

This is a casual position offering flexibility and variety across all aspects of veterinary nursing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • General nursing duties, including pre- and post-operative care, pathology, and emergency/critical care
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and monitoring anaesthesia
  • Performing dental procedures and taking dental and musculoskeletal x-rays
  • Supporting consults and patient care alongside the veterinary team
  • Placing IV catheters and collecting blood samples
  • Maintaining clinic cleanliness, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Managing client enquiries in person, via phone, and email
  • Supporting reception, hospital, and surgical areas as needed

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2+ years’ clinical experience
  • Strong, well-rounded nursing skills across surgery, hospital, and reception
  • Confidence with anaesthetic monitoring, dentals, and pathology processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A calm, friendly, and team-oriented approach
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Experience with RX Works (desirable, not essential)
