You'll also have access to modern equipment including:

  • Digital radiography
  • Handheld dental X-ray unit
  • Vet-Tome dental machine
  • In-house haematology
  • Ultrasound
  • Modern surgical and treatment facilities

About the Role

We currently have both full-time and part-time Veterinary Nurse opportunities available.

As an integral member of our nursing team, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and fellow nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and client service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries
  • Preparing patients for surgery and assisting in theatre
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery
  • Performing blood collection, catheter placement, TPR monitoring, and triage
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Running diagnostic tests and pathology procedures
  • Providing nursing care to hospitalised patients
  • Educating clients on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of the clinic
  • Maintaining cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the hospital

No two days are the same, making this a rewarding opportunity to utilise your nursing skills across a variety of medical and surgical cases.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
  • Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience
  • Has a strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Is confident with catheter placement, blood collection, TPR monitoring, and triage
  • Has competent anaesthetic monitoring skills
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Has experience with RxWorks (highly desirable)
