Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time) | Greencross Vets Carrara | Gold Coast, QLD

Looking for a part-time role where you'll be supported, appreciated, and genuinely enjoy coming to work?

At Greencross Carrara, we're seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team from October 2026, working 2–4 days per week. You'll be joining a close-knit clinic made up of 4 vets and 5 nurses who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care while creating a positive and supportive workplace.

With a planned October start date, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to secure their next role in advance and join a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll enjoy a varied and rewarding role, including:

  • Supporting vets during consults and procedures
  • Surgical preparation and theatre assistance
  • Anaesthetic monitoring and patient recovery
  • Dental procedures and radiography
  • Medication administration and patient care
  • Client communication and education
  • Helping keep daily clinic operations running smoothly

This position includes working every second Saturday as part of a rotating roster.

About You

You're a qualified nurse who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care.

You'll bring:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • 4+ years of clinical nursing experience
  • Strong skills across general nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • A positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
  • A passion for animal welfare and patient care
