About the Internship

You’ll work side-by-side with our Internal Medicine team which includes, specialists, registrar and experienced nursing team and collaborating with other specialist services.. This is a hands-on role where you’ll:

  • Participate in consultations, client communication and patient care
  • Be part of medical procedures, involvement in the assessment, diagnosis and post procedure care
  • Gain exposure to a broad range of complex and fascinating cases
  • If eligible, be encouraged (and supported) to work towards ANZCVS Small Animal Medicine Membership

What We’re Looking For

You are a motivated, professional and enthusiastic veterinarian who:

  • Ideally have a minimum 2 years of veterinary experience
  • Has a keen interest in internal medicine, application will be viewed favourably if they are working towards sitting membership examination
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Has a high standard of patient care

Internship Details

  • Start date: January 2027
  • Duration: 12 months (option to extend to 18 months)
