Our Porter plays an important role in keeping our animal hospital neat, clean, organized, and free from clutter and odors so our medical team can focus on what they do best: caring for pets.

If you take pride in a job well done, enjoy staying active throughout your workday, and don't mind working around animals, we'd love to meet you.

Why our Veterinary Housekeepers Love It Here

  • A consistent Tuesday through Saturday schedule
  • A role where your work makes a noticeable difference every day

  • Meaningful work helping maintain a clean and comfortable environment for pets and their families
  • Opportunities to learn more about the day-to-day operations of a veterinary hospital
  • A workplace where dependability, initiative, and attention to detail are valued
  • Employee pet discounts and benefits designed to support you inside and outside of work
  • A team environment where everyone contributes to the hospital's success

What our Veterinary Housekeepers Do

As our Veterinary Housekeeper, you'll help maintain the hospital's cleanliness, organization, safety, and overall appearance.

  • Complete basic repairs and minor maintenance tasks as needed
  • Run light errands for the hospital
  • Monitor common areas and address cleaning needs throughout the day
  • Assist with other general hospital tasks as needed
  • Work safely and comfortably around animals
  • Collaborate with teammates to help keep daily hospital operations running smoothly

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and proud of maintaining a clean, organized workplace.

  • An excellent work ethic and strong attention to detail
  • Dependability and consistent attendance
  • Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday
  • Comfort working in an animal hospital and around pets
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
  • Willingness to perform a variety of cleaning and general maintenance duties
  • Ability to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • A positive, team-first attitude
  • Willingness to help wherever needed
  • Ability to perform the physical activities associated with cleaning, maintenance, and an active hospital environment
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, clients, and coworkers

The Extras You'll Actually Feel

This isn't simply a cleaning position. As our Veterinary Housekeeper, your work directly impacts the experience of everyone who walks through our doors.

A clean treatment area helps our medical team work efficiently. A welcoming lobby makes clients feel comfortable. Organized spaces help the entire hospital operate more smoothly. And maintaining a clean, safe environment is an important part of providing excellent veterinary care.

You'll have a consistent Tuesday through Saturday schedule and a role where you can see the results of your hard work every day.
