
The Pet Stop is seeking is seeking an experienced Veterinary Hospital Administrator to support our 5 - doctor practice. If you are passionate about caring for animals and people, and have natural leadership skill, please apply! Ideally, our candidate would have 2+ years of experience working with a multi-doctor veterinary practice. All qualified candidates will be considered, and salary is based on experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (Essential Functions):
Hospital Administrators play a key role in driving the performance of a veterinary hospital in partnership with the Area Manager and Medical Director. This position oversees the business and staff aspects of the practice and has responsibility for overseeing all support and operational functions, such as human resources, financial, operational, and business activities, with support from Lakefield. Hospital Administrators are expected to be available to team members during the hospital’s operational hours and this is a 40 hour per week, onsite position. Below are the essential functions of the job:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Essential Qualifications):
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or AA in related field or equivalent work experience. Experience in the veterinary field is a plus. Licensed Veterinary Technicians with leadership and business minded qualities and experience are welcome to apply!
Experience
• 2+ years of experience in overall operations, financial and facilities management, and/or Human Resources
• This includes two years of job-specific experience in a hospital management role within the veterinary or human health industry
• Experience leading a large team of individuals preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervisory responsibility for all of the team members at the hospital other than doctors. Works
with the veterinary leadership to co-supervise medical support staff.
