Job Description

Our Field Service Technicians and Engineers are utilized across a number of different industries and partners. Our techs conduct work on equipment on-site, in various types of facilities, responding to service requests. They install, repair, and maintain equipment, advise customers on the correct use of equipment and devices, and conduct testing of equipment and devices, and implement improvements.

Must be Open to Using Basic and Specialized Hand Tools

  • Repair electrical and mechanical equipment using testers and all necessary hand tools.
  • Remove damaged/defected parts and repair/replace them using hand tools

Understand the importance of Preventative Maintenance

  • Maintain clear and concise records for services provided, preventative maintenance schedules, parts inventory, installation/upgrades and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment (mechanical or electronic) to ensure desired field performance.
  • Field service /troubleshooting/ Preventative Maintenance on multiple types of medical and life sciences equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, and assist in establishing preventative maintenance schedules with management and customers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance by implementing upgrades, pro-actively testing configurations and network links, and inducing fail-over.

When partnering with Source Support Services as a technician, you are expected to build good relationships with our partners and end users, as you represent our company on location, so being friendly and patient is just as important for a successful field service technician as scoring high in mechanical aptitude.

  • Provide Stellar Technical Support - Empower customers to make informed decisions regarding usage and maintaining relationships by providing technical support for purchased equipment.
  • Perform Work that Showcases Customer Satisfaction - Ensured that company technical requirements were followed and customer satisfaction was achieved for all aspects of the installation and/or service.
  • Ability to Address and Raise Technical Issues - Negotiated resolutions to problems without supervision and provide leadership or guidance in the prosecution of technical issues.

All recruited techs must be willing to travel 60-mille radius of the following cities.

We compensate $350 to complete training

After training we pay $60-65$ an hour
