Greencross Vets is offering a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role at our thriving Kangaroo Flat clinic in Bendigo, with a compelling package that recognises both your experience and impact.

We offer a competitive base salary, designed to recognise the importance and impact of this leadership opportunity - PLUS !! an additional $20,000 regional allowance, along with relocation support from Melbourne, interstate or abroad.

Whether you're an established leader or an experienced vet ready to step up, you’ll be supported every step of the way by our Area Manager, Regional Clinical Director, and the wider Greencross network.

Alongside your salary and regional allowance, there is an additional performance‑linked component to remuneration, aligning your leadership contribution with clinic outcomes.

Join a team that genuinely has each other’s backs

You’ll be joining a team of 3 vets and 5 nurses in a united, open‑plan, Stress‑Free accredited clinic. The culture here is warm, supportive, and grounded in excellent communication, humour, and mutual respect.

Why our clinic stands out

This team truly knows how to work together. In complex situations, such as a recent critical heatstroke case, everyone instinctively steps into their role, ensuring patients are stabilised quickly while clients are supported with calm, clear communication.

Going above and beyond is simply how the team operates. Whether it’s delivering medication to clients on the way home or working patiently with anxious pets through Fear‑Free techniques, the level of care is consistent and genuine.

The culture is built on honesty, humour, and support. If someone is having an off day, the team closes ranks and helps out for each other and for their clients.
