Lead a clinic where trust, capability, and care come together
At Greencross Baldivis, we’ve built something quietly special. This is a clinic where people look out for each other, where standards matter, and where the way we work together shapes the care we give.
We are looking for a Veterinary Director who wants to lead with intention, bring people together, and help a capable team keep raising the bar.
What makes this clinic different
Baldivis runs on trust, and you feel it the moment you walk in.
Our nurses are highly skilled, deeply involved, and genuinely empowered in the clinical space. They don’t just support the day, they help drive it. It creates a workflow where vets can focus on thinking, diagnosing, and leading care, rather than carrying everything alone.
We work as one unit. Cases are discussed. Decisions are shared. There is no ego, no hierarchy, just a team that wants to do right by each other and by every patient.
You can get a feel for the clinic in this video, where our Practice Manager shares more about the team, the way they work together, and what makes Baldivis such a special place to be.
As Veterinary Director, your role is to nurture and protect that environment. To guide how we work, and to lean into the strengths of the team and help them keep growing.
If you want it a bit punchier or more polished for an ad, I can tighten the whole section up.
What you’ll be leading
A close, caring team with a calm, supportive rhythm
A varied and interesting caseload, from preventative care to complex medical and surgical workups
A clinic that values continuity of care and thoughtful decision making
A space where gold-standard care is the expectation
Who will thrive here
You’ll feel at home in this role if you:
Lead with trust and empower the people around you
Value nurses as true clinical partners and actively delegate with confidence
Enjoy bringing a team together and creating clarity in how things run
Care deeply about doing good medicine, and supporting others to do the same
Communicate calmly, kindly, and with intention
Like being hands-on clinically while also shaping the bigger picture
What we back you with
You’ll be supported, not left to carry things alone.
A highly capable nursing team that elevates your day-to-day clinical work
Support from your Area Manager, Regional Clinical Director, and a connected network of Veterinary Directors
Development pathways and leadership support if you want to grow your impact
Flexibility in how you structure your week, with a balanced roster and no Sundays or public holidays
Paid parental leave, study leave, and a strong continuing education offering including annual Greencross conference
Mental health and wellbeing support, including trained Mental Health Officers and EAP access
Discounts across Greencross, AEC, and Petbarn
