Veterinary Client Service Representative

Department: Receptionists

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 / hour

Are you passionate about helping pets and the people who love them? We’re seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play an essential role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for every pet and family that walks through our doors.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

  • Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
  • Process invoices payments
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
  • Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
  • Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
  • Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
  • Accurately input data into computer software

Preferred Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced veterinary environment
  • A compassionate, empathetic, and professional attitude
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn veterinary practice management software
  • Previous veterinary reception, veterinary customer service, medical reception, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
Schedule Requirements
As we expand our hospital hours, we’re looking for team members who are flexible and dependable.
Availability includes:
  • Evening shifts ending at 8:00 PM and/or 11:00 PM
  • At least one weekend shift each week
  • Additional weekday shifts based on hospital needs
