As a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) you will support the nurse and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care delivering exceptional care always there to our clients, patients, and colleagues.

Part Time Veterinary Care Assistant at a small animal and exotic practice.

We have a rare opertunity for a VCA to join our team. We have a case load of which includes zoo and exotic work as well as small animals. Our team consists of : HRVN, 2 RVN, 1 VCA, 2 CCA and 4 Vets

Average of 20hr per week

1:2 Weekends 8:30am-1pm

This role is not suitable for young workers in line with Health and Safety Executive (government) direction due to the expected duties of the role. Therefore, you will be asked to confirm that you are over the age of 18 as part of the application process.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

• Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Deliver patient monitoring and care to pets, including walking, toileting and feeding
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team
