Job Description

Join the Welcoming Team at Greencross Pakenham!

Located on the lively Main Street of Pakenham, just 40 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, Greencross Pakenham is a thriving small animal clinic with a strong sense of community and a genuine passion for pet care.

Our clinic has recently undergone a full renovation and rebrand, giving it a fresh, modern look that reflects the vibrant energy of our team. But what truly sets us apart is our supportive, close-knit culture.

You’ll be stepping into a warm, collaborative environment led by adedicated Practice Manager with over 15 years of service at the clinic, and a skilled Associate Veterinarian. Our team is further strengthened by 7 experienced nurses, each with more than a decade of commitment to the clinic, ensuring a stable, knowledgeable, and caring support network.

We pride ourselves on creating a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. From regular coffee runs and shared snacks to plenty of laughs throughout the day, we believe in balancing professionalism with fun.

Thinking of relocating to Australia? Greencross offers comprehensive visa sponsorship and relocation support for international vets. We’ll guide you through every step of the process, from visa applications to settling in, so you can focus on what you do best, caring for pets and building your career.

If you're looking for a clinic that values teamwork, and a great work-life balance, Greencross Pakenham could be your perfect fit!

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated vet who is committed to delivering personalised, professional, and compassionate care to both pets and their owners.

We offer flexibility with working hours and are happy to accommodate either part-time or full-time availability to suit your lifestyle.

While there may be times when you’ll work independently as the sole vet in the clinic, you’ll always be supported by our experienced and capable nursing team, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care.

If you're ready to bring your skills and enthusiasm to a united and supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au/
