Veterinary Assistant / Client Care - No Nights! No Weekends!
Companions Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant / Client Care Representative who enjoys both hands-on patient care and working with people.
This is the perfect role for someone who likes variety, stays busy and is comfortable moving between our medical and client care teams. One part of your day may include assisting with appointments and treatments, while another may involve helping clients, answering phones or keeping the schedule moving. Both are critical to helping pets and the people who love them.
WHY COMPANIONS?
We are a three-doctor, AAHA-accredited practice focused on exceptional medicine, exceptional service and continued learning.
Our team works hard, supports one another and genuinely enjoys working together. We’re open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.—no nights, no weekends.
Experience with venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry and pharmacy is a plus, but you do not need to be an expert in every area.
Respect • Learning • Do the Right Thing • WOW Service • Fun
No two days look exactly the same at Companions. One minute you might be helping a nervous puppy owner schedule their first visit, the next you're helping a team member care for a patient or celebrating a pet's clean bill of health. If you enjoy variety, love being part of a team and like staying busy, you may fit right in.
Hours: Our hospital is open 7a-6p Monday-Friday.
Pay: $16-$19/hour, depending on experience and certification
Benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k), team member discounts, uniform allowance and more.
