Central Victoria Animal Hospital is looking for experienced Veterinary Technician Assistantsto join our24hr Emergency team! This roleworks closely with our ERRVTs,DVMs andboard-certifiedspecialists in a fast-paced, stimulating, world-class medical environment.
The ideal candidate will havea positive teamwork-type attitude and a personality that can deliver exceptional customer service and communication skills. A veterinary assistant certificate would be an assetbut is not a requirement This position requires flexibility to work on a rotatingschedule;however, it also affords a great work-life balance
Key responsibilities:
Assisting Veterinarians and RVTs with various tasks and treatments
Creating a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
Providing compassionate care duties, including feeding and walking patients
Creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients
General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of work area, pet holding areas and common areas
Client care, such as reception, payments and supportive communication
Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
