
Town and Country Animal Hospital, which specializes in companion and exotic medicine, was founded on November 1st, 1989. Our office is located in Hattiesburg, a big city with a small-town feel. Many of our clients are our friends and neighbors.
The Veterinary Assistant assists the veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment, monitors hospitalized pets, maintains inventory, prepares prescriptions, performs routine in-house laboratory work, educates clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, and assists with surgical procedures.
We are looking to add an experienced Veterinary Assistant to our growing team! Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant veterinary experience, strong attention to detail, and a passion for superior patient care. Surgical experience is preferred, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and eventually help support and train newer team members.
