
Elyria Animal Hospital is a small companion animal and exotic pet hospital that has proudly served the local community for over 60 years. Our experienced and compassionate team is dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We believe pets are family, and our friendly staff is committed to treating every patient-and every client-with the same care, respect, and kindness we would our own. We are looking to add a fun-loving team member, who is also great at multi-tasking, with aligned values to our own, to our fast-paced and growing animal hospital.
The Veterinary Assistant assists the veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment, monitors hospitalized pets, maintains inventory, prepares prescriptions, performs routine in-house laboratory work, educates clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, and assists with surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior animal hospital experience.
Anticipated Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10am - 6:30pm. Friday 10am - 5pm. 30 minute unpaid lunch breaks. Federal holidays and weekends OFF!
