Animal Emergency Clinic of the High Country is Hiring a Veterinary Technician!

Position Details

Role: Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician

Status: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive pay based on experience

Schedule: 7 am - 5 pm with weekend rotation (can be every other weekend)

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

  • Assist doctors and technicians with patient care
  • Perform triage and intake of emergency patients
  • Draw blood and place IV catheters
  • Monitor hospitalized patients
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Take radiographs and patient vitals
  • Enter charges and help maintain patient flow
  • Provide compassionate client communication during stressful situations

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

  • Experience preferred, but willingness to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Motivation and compassion for emergency veterinary care
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Interest in building skills and learning in emergency medicine
  • Veterinary technology students, pre-veterinary students, and individuals seeking hands-on clinical experience are encouraged to apply
