Oak View Animal Clinic in Pea Ridge, AR, conveniently located near Bentonville, is looking for two veterinary assistants to join our growing team! We are a well-established, progressive 3-doctor small animal practice providing high-quality veterinary care to pets and their families throughout Northwest Arkansas.
We have two veterinary assistant openings: one for an experienced veterinary assistant, with at least one year of experience required and another for a veterinary assistant with no previous veterinary experience required. If you are dependable, compassionate, and excited to learn, we are happy to provide training and help you build your veterinary skills.
Our veterinary hospital is fast-paced and offers a wide range of services, including preventive care, surgery, high-speed dentistry, in-house diagnostics, digital dental radiology, medical and vacation boarding, and more. You’ll work alongside a friendly, experienced, and supportive veterinary team that values collaboration, continued learning, and excellent patient care.

As a veterinary assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our patients comfortable and helping the veterinary team provide excellent care. Responsibilities may include:
For our experienced veterinary assistant opening, at least one year of veterinary experience is required. For our entry-level opening, no previous veterinary experience is required—we are open to training the right person.
For either veterinary assistant position, we’re looking for someone who is:
Experience with sample collection, laboratory testing, radiographs, medical histories, and anesthesia monitoring is a is required for experienced role, but not required for the entry-level position.
This role may involve exposure to unpleasant odors and noises, animal waste, bites, scratches, and potentially contagious diseases.
