Position Details

Role: Veterinary Assistant Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30 am-5:30 pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00 am-12:00 pm

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient examinations and treatments
  • Safely restrain patients for procedures and diagnostics
  • Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
  • Collect laboratory samples and assist with in-house diagnostics
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate nursing support
  • Educate clients on basic patient care, medications, and preventive health
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Keep the hospital clean, organized, and well stocked
  • Support daily hospital operations while providing exceptional client service
