Exciting News! Our veterinary hospital is reopening in April 2026, and we are looking for passionate veterinary professionals to help us rebuild and grow our team.

Mountain View Veterinary Clinic is seeking two experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our practice in Central Point, Oregon.

• Starting Salary: $17 – 21 per hour, depending on experience education, certifications and licensure
• Schedule: 4/10's - variable days based on business days. May include weekends.
• Additional Benefits: Scrub allowance
• Location: 1333 Plaza Blvd e, Central Point, OR 97502

Who you are:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a veterinary technician or assistant in a veterinary clinical setting required
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Understand the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
• Obtain accurate and thorough medical histories
• Perform basic exam procedures
• Skilled in venipuncture/blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
• Able to perform digital radiology (X-ray) including positioning
• Comfortable with monitoring general anesthesia and surgical assisting, post-operative care and recovery
• Laboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology); automated in-house machines
• Excellent client communication/education
• Adaptable to new ways of working with current medical team and doctors
