San Antonio Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time veterinary assistant to join our established, close-knit team!

San Antonio Animal Hospital is a trusted, full-service veterinary practice that has been caring for pets in San Antonio, FL and surrounding communities for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate, high-quality medicine while building lasting relationships with our clients and patients.

Located in charming San Antonio, FL, our hospital enjoys small-town charm with easy access to the Tampa area — the perfect blend of a relaxed pace and modern convenience. Our team works collaboratively, values strong technical skills, and supports one another every day.

Who You Are:

• 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience as an assistant
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Ability to be adaptable and work well with existing doctors and team members
• Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts or variable scheduling
• Monday through Saturday
