We are proud of our longstanding AAHA accreditation & commitment to providing exceptional veterinarycare! Our hospital is equipped with dental digital radiography, digital radiography (we send out ourradiographic studies for board-certified review), Mindray ultrasound machine, IdexxCBC/Chem/Electrolyte/PT/PTT/T4 machines for in-house urgent care, anesthetic monitoring: ECG,Doppler, CO2, Oxygen, Vetcorder (very cool little monitoring device!), Hot Dog warming blankets, IV fluidpumps including syringe pump. Our cages are heated & we have two wet tables in treatment fortreatments/dental procedures. We have a dedicated surgery, isolation, three exam rooms, pharmacy, lab,small kitchen area, & beautiful outdoor enclosed patio for staff & clients. We get lots of compliments onour beautiful hospital. It's very peaceful & serene, not very "clinical." Our staff is AMAZING. They do it all.They are lovely people, great with our patients & their people & each other. We have a 3+ staff-to-doctorratio so you can stay busy being a doctor, & our hospital manager keeps our working environment in tip-top shape. Our clients are wonderful.
We are looking for an associate to help us continue to grow the practice & provide top-notch service &medical care for our patients. Our practice philosophy & style is to offer each of our patients no lessthan what we do for our own loved ones and kids. Do you have a special interest or experience inexotic pets? We see rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats & mice, turtles & lizards! We have two excellentspecialty hospitals in Ventura & many others close by that we have excellent relationships with forconsultation, referral of tough cases, or those requiring intensive care.
Our new associate will work Monday, Thursday, & Friday. You will be working those days with anotherexperienced veterinarian for collaboration & collegiality. Monthly staff meetings are required on Tuesdaymornings. Newer graduates are welcomed with a minimum requirement of 1+ years of experience.
