Associate Veterinarian – Central Animal Hospital in Petaluma, CA Central Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our award-winning, AAHA-accredited team in beautiful downtown Petaluma, CA.   • Work alongside multiple experienced veterinarians in a collaborative environment where doctors regularly consult on cases and surgeries
  • Monthly doctor meetings to review cases, discuss standards of care, and introduce new medications/protocols

Outstanding Schedule & Work-Life Balance

  • Full-time 4/10 schedule
  • Three appointment days + one dedicated surgery day each week
  • Open Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
  • No weekends or late nights
  • Located just 5 minutes from a local ER hospital, helping minimize emergency case burden

Highly Trained Support Staff

  • 2 technicians/assistants assigned to each doctor
  • Team includes:
    • 3 RVTs
    • 6 skilled veterinary assistants
    • Multiple assistants currently in RVT school
    • A technician who is also a licensed veterinarian in the Netherlands
  • Significant emphasis on staff training and efficiency so doctors can focus on doctor-level responsibilities

Advanced Medicine & Equipment

  • AAHA Accredited for 10+ years
  • Paperless hospital utilizing EzyVet
  • Dedicated, newly remodeled dental suite
  • In-house ultrasound capabilities:
    • Full abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds
    • Work closely with Oncura
  • Partner with Summit Surgery for in-hospital orthopedic procedures
  • Open to expanding services/equipment based on doctor interests (laser therapy, etc.)
