Job Description

Winder Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal practice serving Winder and the growing Barrow County community. We provide high-quality, compassionate medicine with a focus on preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and excellent client communication. Our team is collaborative, experienced, and committed to work–life balance.

We’re seeking a confident, compassionate Medical Director to lead clinical operations, mentor staff, and help shape the future of patient care and client service. This is a hands-on practicing medicine role.

As Medical Director, you will:

  • Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to a loyal client base
  • Lead and support the veterinary team with confidence and professionalism
  • Establish and uphold medical standards and protocols

  • Serve as a clinical mentor to support staff and promote a positive workplace culture

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Active Veterinary State License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire)
