Who we are:

We are seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our highly collaborative team, with the option to pursue a leadership path with training, if desired. Our caseload is approximately 70% canine/feline and 30% exotics, including reptiles, amphibians, avian, and pocket pets. We are well known for our avian medicine, with clients traveling from surrounding states for our avian specialist. Experience with exotics is welcome, but not mandatory for an incoming doctor. We are excited to be expanding our services with the addition of acupuncture starting in February 2026! We also partner closely with wildlife rehabilitation organizations, foster groups, and local pigeon rescue organizations. Recently Upgraded Equipment Our hospital has recently replaced and upgraded nearly all major equipment, including:

  • Closed Sundays  (We would consider opening Sundays for an incoming DVM)
  • ~15 appointments per day, 30 minutes each
  • Sick patients needing diagnostics or treatments are hospitalized for the day
  • Sick appointments are not scheduled as the last appointment of the day
  • 1-hour lunch break
  • 30 minutes of doctor admin time at the end of each shift
Team & Support
  • Very collaborative DVM team
  • 1 LVT and 1 technician in training
  • 2:1 tech-to-DVM ratio for both surgery and appointments
  • Long-tenured staff — 4+ years average tenure
  • Strong culture of appreciation and connection:
    • Quarterly team outings
    • Monthly potlucks
    • Birthday board with personalized gift bags
    • Kudos board & Employee of the Month
    • Regular team celebrations
New Graduate Mentorship We are passionate about supporting new grads! You’ll receive:
  • A structured mentorship and orientation program
