Wasatch Animal Clinic – Associate Veterinarian Heber City, Utah Wasatch Animal Clinic is a community-focused, small animal practice located in the heart of Heber City, UT, and we’re excited to welcome our next Associate Veterinarian to the team! Our four-doctor practice is supported by an experienced, dedicated staff, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a positive, collaborative environment where we genuinely enjoy working together while practicing high-quality medicine. Our clinic offers the charm of a quaint, mountain-view setting, paired with the modern technology and tools needed to thoroughly test, treat, and care for our patients.   • 4 CVTs support the doctors, with several team members pursuing certification
  • Our techs are highly engaged and utilized
  • Open to veterinarians interested in surgery/dentistry, not required
  • Annual anesthesia and dental training for technicians, with doctors attending
  • Staff tenure ranges from 5–30 years

New Graduate Mentorship & Support
  • Experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Our mentorship program includes structured orientation, supportive guidance, case discussions, and a growth-focused learning environment
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
  • No after-hours, overnights, or weekends
  • Full-time or part-time options available
  • Surgery for half a day and appointments the other half (flexible AM/PM)
  • 1-hour lunch, wellness visits 15 minutes, sick visits 30 minutes
  • Admin time at the end of the day (30–60 minutes, flexible)
  • Full-time schedule options:
    • 3 days per week, 8:00am–7:00pm
    • 4 days per week, 8:00am–5:30pm
    • Open to veterinarian schedule preferences
Technology & Equipment
  • Orthopedic equipment for TPLOs and other procedures
  • Electrocautery, endoscope, ultrasound, dental, and digital x-ray
  • In-house IDEXX bloodwork and suction
Large Animal Work
  • 5% of caseload involves large animals: goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and cows
  • Farm calls; no large animal emergencies
  • Basic large animal surgery
