Job Description

Who we are:

Seidl Veterinary Hospital in Hastings, MI is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our well-established practice that has been in our community for more than 40 years. We are a busy, fast-paced, full-service hospital that provides quality veterinary care for dogs and cats. Our inviting facility has undergone changes and improvements throughout the years in keeping with the many ongoing advancements in veterinary medicine.

Our team has built a culture of kindness and support, and enjoy being together for "work and play," as they spend time together outside of work. This skilled and long tenured team maintains an efficient and enjoyable work environment by being proactive to the needs of our doctors, patients, and clients. Our practice boasts a newly remodeled lobby, 5 exam rooms, ultrasound, digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray. We are proud of our relationship with the Barry County Humane Society and enjoy treating their rescues.

Experience as a veterinarian is preferred, but new grads are also encouraged to apply as our collaborative team of doctors can provide mentorship and guidance through a wide range of experience and areas of interest. An interest in orthopedics is also a plus for all candidates.

Hastings is a lively community located on the Thornapple River in the heart of Barry County. It offers many outdoor activities, canoeing, hiking trails, and nearby lakes to explore. The town hosts community festivals, farmers markets, and 4-H fair each year. We have many unique family owned restaurants, adding to our small-town charm. Conveniently located right in the middle of Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Battle Creek, the area provides all the amenities of big city life without any of the hassles!

The emotional and physical wellbeing of our employees is important to us. We offer competitive salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, mentorship and so much more.

We would love to tell you more. Apply today!
