Job Description

Veterinary Associate – Greencross Narre Warren

Full Time | Busy Clinic | Diverse Caseload

Greencross Narre Warren is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join a high‑volume, well‑established clinic offering a large and varied caseload with genuine opportunity to grow your clinical skills.

This is a great role for a vet with 3+ years’ experience who enjoys being hands‑on, working cases up properly, and thriving in a busy environment where no two days look the same.

Why Greencross Narre Warren?

This clinic offers something many vets are looking for - volume, variety, and opportunity. From routine consults to more complex medical and surgical cases, you’ll have the chance to develop confidence, refine your decision‑making, and broaden your clinical exposure.

The clinic operates from a modern, purpose‑built facility within Petbarn, with easy parking and strong foot traffic from a highly engaged client base.

There is a strong operational backbone in place, led by an experienced and highly engaged Practice Manager, ensuring the clinic runs efficiently and allowing vets to focus on patient care. You'll also have excellent clinical case support from your Vet Director and Regional Clinical Director and HR support from your area manager.

With an evolving team and a clear focus on the future, this is an exciting time to join and a chance to be part of the clinic as it continues to grow and shape its next chapter.

Your Role

This is a full‑time GP role where you’ll be supported to practise good medicine while working at a steady and rewarding pace.

You will:

• Manage a broad caseload across consults and surgery

• Work up cases with appropriate support and autonomy

• Build relationships with a loyal and growing client base

• Contribute to a positive, professional team environment

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3+ years’ experience in small animal general practice

• Is confident in consults and routine surgery

• Enjoys a busy clinic environment

• Communicates clearly and builds trust with clients

• Is adaptable, proactive, and solutions‑focused

What We Offer

• Competitive salary and benefits

• Full‑time stability in a busy, growing clinic

• Flexible rostering options where possible

• Unlimited internal continuing education and development pathways

• One week of paid study leave (convertible to annual leave)

• Paid AVA or Veterinary Board registration

• VIN and Plumbs access

• Heidi Health AI to streamline clinical notes and reduce admin time

• Mental health and wellbeing support, including 24/7 confidential counselling

• Staff discounts across Greencross clinics, Petbarn and partner retailers

• Relocation support and visa sponsorship for eligible candidates

Narre Warren offers excellent accessibility within Melbourne’s southeast, with a growing community, strong infrastructure, and easy commuting options. With retail, cafés, and major amenities close by, it’s a practical and convenient location to build your career.

Additional Information

If you’re looking for a role where you can build confidence, stay challenged, and be part of a clinic stepping into its next phase, Greencross Narre Warren could be a great fit.
