Veterinarian (General Practice) – New Milford, CT

A growing veterinary practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care with a focus on preventive and client-centered medicine.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide medical, surgical, dental, and wellness services as appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and follow-up.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with patients, clients, and the local community.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and practice leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
  • Properly utilize and maintain medical equipment and technology.
  • Follow applicable veterinary laws, regulations, and practice standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented practice culture.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Active veterinary license in good standing in the applicable state.
  • New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
