Who we are:

Deep Creek Veterinary Hospital in Chesapeake, Virginia is looking for a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join our growing 1.5 doctor practice! We are a full-service companion animal practice that provides excellent service to canines and felines. Our practice has provided care to pets in our community for 28 years!

More about DCVH:

• We offer a complete array of services including medicine, surgery, boarding, and grooming.
• We recently purchased a new state-of-the-art Inovadent Complete Dental cart, ultrasound, dental x-ray, and we have more updates in the works!
• Our facility includes In-House Idexx lab equipment, Urinalysis (Sediview), and digital radiography.
• Most of our staff have been with us for 10+ years and enjoy hiking, mud runs, bowling, karaoke, etc. together.
  • 2 assistants are taking their VTNE and more are in tech school!
• We have 3 exam rooms and typically have 2 assistants per doctor, as well as a dedicated lab and treatment assistant.
• We provide the highest standard of care to our clients and patients with 30+ minute appointments.
• Fear Free Certified with technician support.
• Interested in exotics? While our primary focus is on small animals, we occasionally see exotic pets, offering a great opportunity for those who enjoy working with them!

Veterinarian role:

• We are looking for the right individual to join our dynamic and compassionate team.
• New graduates or experienced doctors are welcome to apply!
• We offer a mentorship program to new grads and growth opportunities for all our doctors.
• A strong interest (mentorship opportunity) or experience in general medicine and surgery is preferred!
• Our doctors have a flexible schedule including working 4 days a week and rotating Saturday shifts.
• We do not have any after-hours or on-call requirements.
