Veterinarian – Animal Medical Centre South
Are you a veterinarian who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment where your skills are valued and your voice matters? Animal Medical Centre South (AMC South) is a busy, progressive clinic seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our experienced and supportive team.
Our hospital primarily focuses on small animals (cats and dogs – about 95% of cases), with occasional large animal cases (around 5%) including horses, cows, and birds. We provide a wide range of medical services from routine exams and surgery to therapeutic care all delivered with a commitment to high-quality, compassionate veterinary medicine.

About AMC South
Founded in 2012, AMC South has always been dedicated to the wellbeing of both small and large animals. Our team includes veterinarians with specialized certifications in rehabilitation and acupuncture, allowing us to provide expanded services every day. We were voted Best Veterinary Clinic by the Medicine Hat News Readers’ Choice Awards in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Our hospital is busy and dynamic, and we are looking for an Associate Veterinarian who can step in regularly to provide exceptional care to our loyal clients. With a focus on the highest standards of medicine and state-of-the-art equipment, you’ll be joining a well-equipped, supportive, and friendly team.
What We’re Looking For
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Eligibility for veterinary licensing in British Columbia
• Passion for providing compassionate patient care
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude
• Desire to educate and build lasting relationships with clients
