We are looking for Security officers to join our high performing team to work onsite Defence bases. This position plays a critical role in protecting Defence personnel, assets, and infrastructure through proactive patrols, access management, and strong on - site presence.
Don't have a Security License? MSS will help you get one. Our coveted Scholarship program helps you get a Security Course by putting you on the Cert II Security Operations course. We will also sponsor your clearance if you don't have one already!

W orking on a Defence site means operating to a higher standard, where your professionalism and discretion have a direct impact on national operations - nothing you wouldn't already know as a member of the ADF. Your duties typically will involve -
Duties
Access Control - Monitoring entry and exit points to ensure only authorised personnel are permitted on site.
Foot Patrols - Conducting regular patrols to maintain situational awareness and deter potential threats.
Stakeholder Liaison - Building rapport with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while delivering a strong security presence.
Incident Response - Reacting promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious behaviour.
Compliance Monitoring - Ensuring site protocols and Defence security procedures are always followed.
Reporting & Documentation - Accurately recording incidents, shift activities and observations in accordance with site requirements.
