Position: Vessel Operation Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vessel Operation Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our fleet of vessels, ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's fleet of vessels, including crew management, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
- Monitor vessel performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Manage and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of vessels.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of vessel crew members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor and control vessel operating budgets and expenses.
- Prepare reports and presentations on vessel operations for senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in vessel operations management, preferably in the marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
