Reporting to the Director, VES – North America, the Veralto Enterprise System Leader - North America will help strengthen a culture of performance, problem solving, and measurable improvement across the organization. This role focuses on building sustainable operating practices, improving business processes, and enabling teams to deliver stronger results through VES-aligned continuous improvement and operational excellence methods.

In this role, you will partner with functional leaders across the organization to accelerate growth, improve operational performance, and strengthen day-to-day execution in North America. This position will provide coaching and training to leaders and associates to identify opportunities, simplify processes, solve problems at the root cause, and sustain stronger results through VES tools and practices, consistent management routines, standard work, visual controls, and structured process improvement. The VES Leader serves as a key thought partner and hands-on change agent, supporting deployment and sustainment of operational excellence best practices across functions, value streams, and frontline teams.

This position is part of the VES team located in London, Ontario and will be hybrid with the expectation of a minimum of 3-days per week in office.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Process Leadership and Operational Excellence Implementation

  • Lead and support daily implementation of continuous improvement and operational excellence practices;
  • Apply and facilitate practical improvement methods, including structured problem solving, visual and daily management, standard work, and transactional process improvement, with coaching support from senior operational excellence leaders
  • Support the daily implementation of improvement practices within assigned functions, value streams, and frontline teams
  • Provide coaching and guidance for daily management, standard work, process discipline, and transactional process improvement.
  • Audit existing processes and systems to determine actions required for improvements.
  • Build capability in continuous improvement tools through onboarding, hands-on application, certification progress where applicable, and feedback from experienced practitioners.

Lead Continuous Improvement and Kaizen Events

  • Support the planning, facilitation, implementation, and sustainment of kaizen events and other improvement activities:
  • Guide pre-work, event execution, and sustainment activities while providing training on key improvement tools such as kaizen, structured problem solving, daily management, visual management, and standard work
  • Conduct regular reviews of improvement charters, pre-work, action plans, and sustainment metrics to ensure events are well prepared, effectively executed, and translated into lasting performance gains.

Partnership, Coaching, and Talent

  • Partner with functional leaders, process owners, frontline teams, and operational excellence stakeholders to execute assigned improvement priorities.
  • Coach associates and team leaders in foundational continuous improvement concepts, daily management routines, visual controls, standard work, root-cause problem solving, and behaviors that support a culture of operational excellence.
  • Collaborate across functions and domains to support business outcomes, remove barriers, and build credibility as a practical continuous improvement and operational excellence practitioner.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Relevant experience and demonstrated impact deploying continuous improvement, lean, operational excellence, or business process improvement practices, with a focus on structured problem solving, visual and daily management, standard work, and transactional process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate teams, learn new methods quickly, and sustain improvement actions with process owners.
  • Proficiency in English (required)
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time

The compensation range for this role is $90,000-$105,000 CAD per year. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
