
This position requires the Team Member to operate a 7-ton crane using a pendant, to weigh-up ductile alloys, load these alloys into a treatment ladle and fill the ladle with iron. The operator then transfers the treated iron then fills one of two pressure pour furnaces. Additional duties include pouring base iron from the Melt Department into the Vertiplex Holding Furnace, cleaning slag from various spouts using a jackhammer, and taking temperatures and metallurgical tests.

2nd shift = $27.13
3rd shift = $26.88
