Job Description

In June 2025, Crane announced our intent to acquire Precision Sensors & Instrumentation (“PSI”), a leading provider of sensor-based technologies for aerospace, nuclear and process industries, from Baker Hughes. The $1.1 billion acquisition will add roughly $400 million in sales and 1,700 associates to Crane. PSI includes the Druck, Panametrics, and Reuter-Stokes brands that manufacture instrumentation and sensor-based technologies to detect and analyze pressure, flow, gas, moisture, and radiation across various industries, serving customers in more than 90 countries. Crane is so excited for the planned welcome of these brands into our portfolio and the role they will play in continuing to drive profitable growth for the company.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role collaborates cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives and deliver measurable results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with long-term business objectives, growth initiatives, and revenue targets.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and other event channels.
  • Drive brand positioning, messaging, and market differentiation to strengthen competitive advantage.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, industry developments, and competitive activity to inform business strategy and marketing priorities.
  • Identify new market opportunities and recommend growth strategies to increase market share and customer engagement.
  • Partner with sales teams to support lead generation, conversion, and funnel growth.
  • Oversee content development including campaigns, presentations, and collateral
  • Managing the creation, distribution, and maintenance of print and electronic collateral including brochures, press releases, website content, annual reports, and other marketing material.
  • Overseeing the company’s social media strategy to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques,
  • Organizing and managing events such as product launches, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Managing the marketing budget and third-party vendor relationship.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within a B2B industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies that support business growth and commercial objectives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business software applications, including CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience managing digital marketing channels, including email marketing, website content, social media, SEO/SEM, and marketing analytics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate market data and campaign results into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
