Job Responsibilities:
What you can expect
- Lead the complete V&V scope for ADAS products within the ASI Product Area, with clear ownership of strategy, planning, execution follow-up, and verification maturity reporting
- Coordinate all relevant test disciplines, including Vehicle Testing, ADAS Feature Testing, Basic Software Integration, Software Verification (SWE.5-6), System Verification (SYS.4-5), and Validation (VAL.1)
- Define and drive a project-specific verification strategy that is technically sound, risk-based, and aligned with project milestones, product maturity targets, customer expectations, and release gates
- Act as the key V&V interface towards Project Management, System Engineering, Software, Hardware, Integration, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Quality, Release Management, and customer-facing teams
- Plan, prioritize, track, and monitor test activities through dedicated team leads for each test level or domain, ensuring proper capacity planning, dependency management, and timely escalation of blockers
- Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of testing activities across requirement, architecture, integration, system, feature, and vehicle levels, maintaining end-to-end traceability from requirements to verification evidence
- Drive technical readiness of test environments, test objects, benches, logs, data sets, tools, and vehicle setups required for efficient execution of ADAS verification activities
- Monitor verification progress, defect trends, coverage, pass/fail status, residual risks, and release readiness, and communicate status transparently at each project milestone and delivery
- Support issue triage and debugging by driving structured defect analysis, reproducibility, prioritization, and cross-functional root cause follow-up
- Contribute to continuous improvement of V&V methods, processes, automation, and metrics in an ASPICE-driven ADAS development environment
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive electronics verification and validation
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical lead, test lead, verification lead, or similar senior coordination role
- Experience in ADAS or active safety projects is considered a strong advantage
- Strong experience in automotive Verification & Validation, preferably in ADAS, active safety, sensor fusion, or other complex ECU-based products
- In-depth understanding of V-model development and requirement-based verification across multiple test levels, from component and software integration up to vehicle validation
- Good knowledge of ASPICE-aligned verification activities, especially SWE.5, SWE.6, SYS.4, SYS.5, and VAL.1, including entry/exit criteria, bidirectional traceability, evidence generation, and review expectations
- Good technical understanding of ADAS system architecture, ECU integration, embedded software, middleware/basic software, interfaces, diagnostics, and feature-level behavior
- Experience with automotive communication and diagnostic protocols such as CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, FlexRay, UDS, UART, and SPI
- Hands-on experience with relevant tools such as Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, DOORS, PTC/Windchill RV&S, Intland Codebeamer, Jira, and log analysis or traceability tools
- Awareness of and practical exposure to IATF 16949, ISO 26262, and ISO/SAE 21434 in the context of test planning, evidence generation, release quality, and compliance
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess verification gaps, challenge incomplete evidence, and drive fact-based decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align distributed teams and present technical status clearly to engineering and management audiences
- Leadership mindset, ownership attitude, and the ability to operate effectively in a senior coordination role similar to a Product Owner for the project V&V scope
Nice to have
- Experience with SiL, HiL, bench, and vehicle-level verification setups
- Experience with camera, radar, ultrasonic, ECU integration, or multi-sensor feature validation
- Exposure to customer milestone reviews, release boards, and cross-site collaboration in global development organizations
