Job Description

Your role at Exness

The Verifications Specialist at Exness protects the company’s financial ecosystem by ensuring rigorous KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on proactive fraud prevention, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement to maintain a secure, compliant, and trustworthy payments environment for our clients.

You will

  • Perform KYC checks in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform AML screening and investigate adverse media, sanctions, PEP, and watchlist screening alerts to identify potential financial crime risks.
  • Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews on high-risk customers, including verification of Source of Funds (SoF).
  • Evaluate customer profiles and transactional behavior to identify potential money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other financial crime risks.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate due diligence records, risk assessment reports, and case documentation in line with internal requirements.
  • Escalate high-risk cases and suspicious findings to senior verification specialists, and relevant stakeholders in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor payment transactions, fraud detection systems, and risk alerts to identify suspicious activity, fraudulent transactions, payment-related threats in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and assess fraud and risk cases by reviewing transaction data, customer behavior, payment patterns to perform appropriate actions and risk mitigation measures.
  • Review and investigate flagged transactions, customer accounts, and fraud alerts to determine appropriate actions, rejection, escalation, or additional verification.
  • Maintain accurate records of fraud investigations, risk assessments, and case outcomes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience expected.
  • Experience in the CFDs/Forex industry, particularly in: AML Monitoring and Fraud Prevention activities
  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus, especially: Compliance certifications, AML certifications
  • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in: Excel, Google Sheets and Google Docs
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, communicative, and a strong team player.
  • Pleasant personality combined with a dynamic and professional attitude.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and develop professionally.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams
