You’ll be trusted to play your part in delivering the advanced, technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions of tomorrow - shaping a safer future, for all of us.Job Description:As a Verification & Validation Capability Lead, you will be managing and leading requirement derivation, Interface Control Documents (ICDs) generation, Statement of Work (SoW) generation and modelling of the different Capabilities / Services for the V&V Test Facility for placing onto Suppliers (Typhoon Level 2 standard).Core duties:Managing Suppliers, both internal and external, in the development and costing of SolutionsLeading the development of the ECRS Mk2 Test Facility Fixed Price ProposalSupporting workshops with both internal and external (Customer and Industry) StakeholdersSupporting requirement reviews with both internal and external (Customer and Industry) StakeholdersLeading Engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) Design / Phase Reviews for the V&V Test FacilityCollaborating and developing working relationships with the Typhoon Radar and Avionic areas within the BusinessManaging team delivery against a baselined ScheduleLeading cross-functional discussionsEssential Skills:Degree/HND or equivalent experience in a STEM related disciplineSenior Systems Engineering experience working across the full engineering lifecycle (LCM)Experience of DOORsManagement/Leadership experienceExperience of Avionic Test Facilities/familiar with Electronic Warfare (EW) - desirableThe ECRS Mk2 Support Solution Team:Working in the ECRS Mk2 Support Solution Team / Electronic Warfare Solutions (EWS) is a challenging and rewarding experience that involves working with internal and external Customers and Suppliers within Early Stages of the Engineering Lifecycle.The ECRS Mk2 Radar Ground Support Solution team are on contract to develop the System Definition for the Future Support Solution for the Royal Air Force (RAF).
