Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Support evaluation work in the verification group by performing measurements in the test lab and working with test data.
Collect, analyze, and interpret measurement results, identifying trends, deviations and supporting technical conclusions.
Document outcomes, update test reports, and ensure results are clearly communicated.
Collaborate closely with engineers and cross functional team members to support ongoing verification activities.
Education & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Skills
Basic programming skills in Python, JMP, R, or similar tools for data analysis.
Foundational knowledge in physics, particularly Electromagnetism and Waves.
Analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment and communicate technical results clearly.
Working Conditions
Work is primarily conducted in a laboratory and office environment.
Close collaboration with engineering teams is required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform laboratory based tasks, including handling measurement equipment.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as required by testing activities.
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and II-VI Corporate EHS standards.
