Hitachi rail is a global provider of rail solutions. In Sweden, we are delivering advanced railway signaling systems that meet the highest safety and performance standards.
We are now looking for a Verification and Test Engineer to join our team in Solna, Stockholm.
What You'll Do
Develop,executeandmaintaintest plans and specifications
Configure andoperatelab test environment (simulators, hardware)
Performfunctional test in Lab and simulatedenvironment
Performtest in Site environment
Record, analysis and report test results
Collaborateacrossteams to clarify issues and support problem solving
Your tasks will be performedLocal( Labs; desktops) and on Site
Follow EN 50126728/29 standards
Team & Work environment
Small Local team - You'll be joining a compact on-site team in Solna, where your contribution is highly visible andyou'llgain broad, hands-on experience
International Collaboration - Much of our engineering support& development comes from Italy, so excellent communication skills and cultural awareness are essential
Proactive mindset- We value engineers who work independently,identifysolutions and drive activities forward
What We're Looking For
2-5 years’ experience in testing
Understanding of the V-cycle and requirements-based testing
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, ComputerEngineeringor related field
Experience with test tools,simulatorsand lab se-ups
Experience with Site work environment is a plus
Basic knowledge of railway signaling concepts
Strong communicationskills for multi-site cross-cultural collaboration
