You will join Alstom’s Technology Center in Villeurbanne (France), which is Alstom’s specialized hub for the development of electronic products and generic software used across all Alstom railway applications: onboard electronic products, telecommunications solutions, trackside equipment products, and centralized server solutions.
In this context, you will join the team responsible for developing an entirely new hosting and execution platform for railway supervision services used in control centers (train monitoring, regulation, traffic management, etc.). This new platform, currently under development, will be built on a microservices architecture organized around a publish/subscribe‑based data bus, using the latest software technologies.
Your mission:
As a Verification and Validation Manager, you will be responsible for:
You will report to the Program Manager, be part of the program’s core team, and work closely with other engineering teams.
Your profile:
Master’s degree or engineering degree in computer science / system design / networking / automation or equivalent.
Good knowledge of the validation process.
Basic knowledge in the following technologies/domains:
Strong knowledge in the following areas:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in system validation.
Prior experience in managing validation activities.
Ability to work in English: technical reading, technical meetings, design reviews, email communication, and specification writing.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with remote teams.
