In this position you will have the opportunity to evolve our talent management, way of working and output of the R&D department Test & Release Interventional Applications. The nature of the role (technical + clinical) is a unique opportunity to position you for a broader cross-functional R&D leadership team, within Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Systems business.

Your responsibilities

  • Resource management to all project & department activities
  • Motivate the team crafting & maintaining an inspiring and respectful work environment
  • Competence Management of Design Verification & Validation
  • Test automation strategy
  • Algorithm validation
  • Contribute to the Quality Management Processes & responsible for implementation of the quality procedures within the department
  • Global alignment of department improvements & standard work with our Bangalore organization
  • Ensure release of products to the market are first time right
  • Maintaining relationships with cross-functional & external stakeholders, i.e., Innovation, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing, Suppliers and IGT-Devices

Your team

Within Philips Healthcare in our Campus in Best, the Business Unit IGT Systems is responsible for marketing, development, manufacturing, services and solutions. Used in the area of cardiac and vascular medical diagnosis and intervention. The customers are hospitals and their medical specialists.

Our customers are interventional specialists in the cardiology, vascular surgery, neurology and radiology domain operating in a wide variety of hospitals across the globe. You will be responsible for a high-performance and culturally diverse team, working in a dynamic agile environment. You will lead a team of 10-12 professionals in the areas of System Test, and Design Verification, Validation & Product Release.

You will report and collaborate with the Director of Interventional Applications Cluster

We are looking for

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in a technical or clinical field
  • +6 years of experience in a similar position
  • You are a natural people leader, able to lead, motivate & inspire a team
  • Experience in Product Development, Launch & Maintenance
  • Knowledge & experience working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) considered a plus
  • Knowledge of international regulations & standards (e.g. FDA regulatory, IEC 62304, ISO13485, ISO14971) is a must
  • You are comfortable driving the team’s deliverables on time with attention for quality
  • Strong collaborator, able to maintain relationships in a global matrix organization.
