You Are

You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in semiconductor verification and a passion for applying modern AI technologies to solve complex engineering challenges. You understand verification methodologies and workflows and are excited about the potential of AI, verification automation, and intelligent engineering solutions. You enjoy collaborating across teams, solving difficult technical problems, and delivering solutions that improve engineering productivity, quality, and user experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and enable AI-powered solutions that improve engineering productivity across semiconductor verification workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, R&D, and other cross-functional teams to identify technical challenges and transform them into scalable automation and AI-assisted solutions.
• Develop integrations between AI technologies and engineering tools, enabling intelligent workflows, automation, and enhanced user experiences.
• Evaluate and apply emerging technologies such as LLMs, AI agents, RAG, MCP, and workflow orchestration frameworks to solve real-world engineering problems.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to the advancement of AI-driven solutions across verification and related engineering domains.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 10+ years of relevant industry experience; MS or PhD preferred.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor verification methodologies and flows, with hands-on experience in Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, simulation, coverage closure, debug, regression, and related verification technologies.
• Experience with programming and software development, preferably in Python or similar languages used for automation and engineering applications.
• Familiarity with advanced verification methodologies and related technologies such as static verification, formal verification, or verification automation is a plus.
• Interest in or experience applying AI, machine learning, LLMs, or automation technologies to engineering challenges.
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies such as agent frameworks, RAG systems, MCP, workflow automation, or similar technologies is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will join the Korea Synopsys Verification team, a group of engineers developing and enabling advanced verification solutions for semiconductor customers. In this role, you will contribute to AI-driven initiatives that enhance engineering productivity, automation, and verification workflows while working closely with Product Engineering, R&D, and other global teams.
